Our Product Team
Internal Magnet
Consists of a small magnet within a balloon catheter. This component is then fed into the stomach orally.
External Magnet
Consists of a large magnet in a hand-held housing. When placed on the patient’s abdomen, the Internal Magnet is magnetically drawn to the External magnet, and forms a temporary gastropexy with the anterior stomach wall.
Percutaneous Guidewire (PGW)
After puncturing the balloon and obtaining enteral access, the PGW is then fed into the needle and snares the Internal Magnet. When the Internal magnet is extracted orally, through-and-through access has been created
