COVID-19 Company Update

At several customer sites, the PUMA-G System has been used to aid COVID-19+ patients. This eliminates transmission risk and contamination of specialty suites evident in transporting this patient subpopulation. Clinical teams are finding the ability to perform gastrostomy safely at the bedside without transport and suite contamination risk to be tremendously helpful. In alignment with CDC and other state/local requirements, CoapTech is restricting its travel and in-person meetings with physicians and other hospital staff. To this end:

• Our team will continue to support sites utilizing the PUMA-G System for ultrasound gastrostomy, while acknowledging current priorities and safeguards. Enteral nutrition access can be an important step in freeing ICU beds.

• Videoconference demos are also available for interested providers to learn about our system remotely. Our hope with the PUMA-G System is that faster gastrostomy access would open more beds to critically ill COVID-19 patients.

• Our team has implemented a 100% remote work policy for our employees, as we recognize our role in the healthcare ecosystem. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
